I just learned about My Little Red Book, a fantastic project started by Rachel Kauder Nalebuff. This little red companion tells first period stories, breaking the silence of many women to talk about their first time for the first time. The book aims to provide support, entertainment, and a starting point for discussion for mothers and daughters everywhere. Royalties from sales of the book are being donated to charities promoting women's health and education.
